Sheila and the Insects, an independent rock act from Cebu, has garnered a loyal cult following since its inception in 1994.
The band experienced a silent breakup in 2004, but loyal fans of its music would not allow its demise.
Inspired by the genius of post-punk/art-rock gods The Cure, Sonic Youth, The Smiths, and The Clash, SATI reemerged, reconstructed, and reclaimed its almost lost rock n’ roll hive.
The current incarnation of SATI includes members Orven Enoveso on vocals and guitars, Ian Zafra on guitars, Wesley Chiongbian on bass and Jerros Dolino on drums. (source)
